About Us

Susannah White

After more than 20 years of teaching, I remain an enthusiastic educator, constantly researching and developing ways of enhancing my pedagogical skills. My passion is for helping learners - adults and children. Sometimes simple changes can make big differences. I think there is a danger of treating the mind and learning ability as separate to the body, and that this is very unhelpful. Therefore my approach is holistic - the learner as a whole person. I am interested in all aspects of lifestyle that effect learning, whether that be how sleep is critical for memory formation or how exercise can improve concentration, from the importance of blood sugar levels to the value of a nutrient-rich diet. This fits really well with my educational background and fascination with how to learn and teach most efficiently and effectively - with interest and enjoyment at the heart of everything.
