Teach Your Child to Read

Joining your child on their journey towards being an autonomous and joyful reader is wonderful.  However, learning to read is complex and rarely just 'happens' without substantial support from adults.  In this workshop we explore how best to support learners, discussing the methods used in schools, games and fun activities.  Participants should leave feeling confident in teaching strategies along with taking a range of useful resources home.
